The latest update to the Samsung Health app transforms it into a comprehensive health management platform, allowing users to access medical records, track medications, and monitor daily food intake—all in one place.
Thanks to a partnership with b.well Connected Health, the app now connects seamlessly with clinics, hospitals, and major health networks. This collaboration provides users access to various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in the U.S., such as Cerner Health, Epic Systems, and Veradigm, for easier health management.
In the Samsung Health app, you can now view your lab results and vital signs right at your fingertips. The Health Records feature offers personalized alerts and insights, even recommending medical tests based on your health history. It covers everything from vaccinations and prescriptions to past hospital visits and test results, making it easier to manage your health.
A new U.S. feature is medication tracking, letting you add meds by scanning the pill bottle with your phone. The app provides your dosage schedule, alerts for missed doses, and key details like descriptions, side effects, and interactions. Medication tracking is now expanding to South Korea and India, helping more people manage their health.
Samsung Health now lets you log your meals more easily by scanning food barcodes. This feature speeds up meal logging and helps you track calories and nutrition facts, thanks to a partnership with FatSecret. It launches first in the U.S. and select European countries—France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland—before expanding further.
